The Management Plan for Water Quality Control of the South District Reservoir in 2019

The plan is to select the main reservoirs of EPA with eutrophication potential as the scope of work in the Southern District and Penghu area. And continue the previous year work content, complete the reservoir pollution load assessment and investigation, development of water quality management policy in reservoir, reservoir pollution investigation and removal technical support, tracking of massive infrastructure plan, and the test of total phosphorus reduction mold field in Penghu reservoir. Results show that: (1) The rainfall runoff of non-point source pollution in orchards contains a very high concentration of nitrogen and phosphoru, and wastewater from hot spring areas and chicken farms are the main sources of nutrient in Baihe reservoir. (2) Making the guidance on sampling sites selection for resevoirs, and sampling stations at 26 main reservoirs will be reviewed and relocated follow the guidance. (3) The automatic monitoring technology of reservoir transparency has the advantages of high precision, low error and low cost compared with the traditional Secchi Disk transparency measurement method, and can be automatically continuously monitored. It helps the push of future advanced automonitoring technology for CTSI index. (4) MSL system can directly purify the water quality of reservoir through circulation, and can make the water quality of the reservoir meet the water quality standard, has high real field potential.
